FAQ's

How far in advance should I schedule my clearance?

Ideally 2-4 weeks before surgery. This allows time for any unexpected findings to be addressed without delaying your procedure. What should I bring to my appointment? List of current medications and supplements Previous medical records (if available) Your surgeon's contact information Any specific forms or requirements from your surgical team

Will my insurance cover pre-op clearance?

Typically, no. That's actually good news for you. At Precision, we work directly with you—no insurance interference, no prior authorizations, no delays. You pay a flat, transparent fee and we move forward immediately. We'll provide you with an itemized receipt (often called a "superbill") that you can submit to your insurance for potential reimbursement. Many patients recover a portion of their costs this way. Your labs are the most likely component to be covered by insurance, and we can run those through your benefits to maximize savings. The result? Faster clearance, zero administrative headaches, and you're one step closer to your procedure.

What if a health issue is discovered?

We'll work with you and your surgeon to address it. Sometimes this means optimizing a condition before surgery; other times it's simply documentation. Our goal is safe clearance, not automatic denial.

Do you provide post-operative follow-up?

Yes. We're available for post-surgical concerns, wound checks, or any health issues that arise during recovery.
